13U AAA SINGLE SEASON TRYOUT INFORMATION FOR 2024

13U AAA is a single season program competing in BC Minor Baseball's top tier 13U league. This team will play other AAA teams from the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Interior.

2024 Season Time Frame

  • Pre-season practice program runs from mid-January to mid-March, Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

  • The full inter-provincial 13U AAA season runs from early April through to mid-August.

A typical season schedule consists of approximately 40 league games and up to 25 tournament, exhibition, and playoff games.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1) Players and families must be aware of the substantial time commitment and recognize the accommodation and travel costs required prior to registering their player for tryouts. 2) There will likely be a game or practice on 4-5 days per week, including both weeknights and weekends throughout the season. 3) Players must also be able and willing to commit to playing through to the end of the summer season, which could possibly include Provincials, Westerns and Nationals. 4) 13U AAA plays 9-person ball and there are no expectations of fair play in this division for portions of the season. 5) Players with extended periods of non availability during the season may not be eligible for this team.

There will be a $50 tryout registration fee to cover the costs of the rented facilities.


Players are expected to attend at least 2 of these sessions:

  • Thursday, January 11th - 3:45 to 5:45pm

  • Friday, January 12th - 3:45 to 5:45pm

  • Saturday, January 13th -1:45pm to 3:45pm

Further session signup details including location will be sent out after registration closes on Dec 31, 2023. If your player is unable to attend 2 sessions please reach out to the Registrar at registrar@comba.ca


Please note that 13U AA Tryouts will be communicated in early 2024. The AA program runs separate Spring and Summer seasons and is not a single season program.
