Book the Batting Cages
Batting cages are available for use by any COMBA teams at both Edith Gay and Lombardy fields. Booking of the batting cages is using the honour system.​ Cages are not booked with associated practice times. If coaches wish to use them during their practices, they must book in advance.
Scheduling
Only available booking times will be available using our online booking system. Be sure to select the appropriate location for your session.

Batting cages are booked for 1 hour sessions and include both tunnels. Bookings must be after 8am and before 9pm.

All COMBA teams can book once from Monday to Friday and once on Saturday or Sunday. Any un-booked spots are open to any team once the day begins (12:01 am of the day in question). Times can only be booked 2 weeks in advance, future dates will not accept bookings.

Coaches and Assistant coaches may book the batting cages in the off-season free of charge and use with registered plays of COMBA. Please use the same guidelines above for booking.

Non COMBA players or coaches can book the cage for $50.00 per hour. This cost helps cover maintenance fees and must users carry their own insurance. To use the Batting Cage in the off-season, please contact the President or Vice Presidents. ​
Access
To access the batting cages, coaches will need to use the keys provided for the dugouts. Batting cages are unlocked by the same sets of keys.
Keys are the responsibility of the team coaches, giving a key to a 3rd party is not permitted. Anyone found to be giving keys to unauthorized users will have batting cage privileges revoked.
Rules
NO METAL CLEATS in the batting cage at any time.
NO SPITS, TABACCO OR SPITTING etc in the cage at any time.
Any abuse of the booking system or misuses of the batting cage will result in having their batting cage privileges revoked.
