Boucherie Main, West Kelowna - Register Here As we prepare for our next successful championship season, we are hoping athletes interested in playing on the BC Aces will join us at one of the upcoming Provincial Team ID camps. The regional camp is the first step in our selection process as we start to build our BC Provincial Girls Teams that will compete in the Western (14U) and National (16U & 21U) championships. Championship Dates & Locations: Western Canada Championships (14U) August 18-20 Richmond, British Columbia National Championships (16U) August 24-27 Summerside, PEI National Championships (21U) August 10-13 Saint John’s, Nfld National Championships (Open) July 27-30 Hammonds Plains, NS Pathway to Playing on BC (14U & 16U & 21U) Aces Teams: Step One – Attend a Regional Identification Camp Baseball BC will hold Regional Identification Camps throughout the province. Athletes must attend one of these camps. The purpose of the Regional Identification Camps is to select athletes for the Provincial Camp. Step Two – Attend the Provincial Camp Players will meet our team of provincial coaches, 21U Emily Fournier, 16U Stacy Fournier, 14U Kristy Watson, 14U Liz Gilder, who will lead an intensive four-day event used to select athletes for the provincial teams. Step Three – Play on the Provincial Team 12-16 athletes will be chosen per team. However, this year BC is hosting the Westerns, so we will be entering two teams at the 14U level and choosing up to 32 players. A minimum of one team practice prior to championship will take place. Practice details and team expectations will be communicated by your coach after selection. Age Divisions: The following shows the birth and traditional grad year associated with each age division.
