Kelowna is home to a vibrant sports community, and it’s time to take that passion to the next level by introducing a state-of-the-art indoor batting cage facility at Edith Gay Park. This project has the potential to transform the park into a year-round hub for baseball and softball players of all ages and skill levels. Whether it’s a rainy day or the chill of winter, athletes will have a reliable, weatherproof space to practice, improving their batting skills and keeping their game sharp.

The indoor batting cage facility will cater to players of all ages and abilities, from recreational house league players just starting out, to high school athletes looking to refine their technique, and even college prep players training for the next level. By offering flexible training spaces and professional-grade equipment, the facility will help local athletes reach their full potential, providing tailored opportunities for everyone—from beginners to those aspiring to play at the collegiate level. It will be a place where every player, regardless of their experience, can find the resources they need to grow and succeed.

The investment in this facility isn’t just an investment in sports—it’s an investment in the local economy. With more people coming to the area to utilize the facility, we’ll see increased foot traffic to nearby businesses and greater visibility for the park itself. Not only will this project support the development of athletes, but it will also enhance the overall appeal of Edith Gay Park, making it a must-visit destination for sports enthusiasts across the region.

It’s time to bring this vision to life and make Edith Gay Park the go-to place for aspiring baseball and softball players in Kelowna. Let's create a space where athletes can thrive year-round, and our community can grow together through the love of the game.
