The Central Okanagan Minor Baseball Association (COMBA) stipulates that the following must be adhered to by all High-Performance team coaches with respect to playing time for all players (excluding College Prep):

1. All players are to start 50% of regular season league and tournament games. 

2. A start will consist of the player being on the starting roster and completing 3 full innings of play prior to being replaced. If the player is unable to completed 3 full innings due to injury, this game can still be counted as a start.

3. If a player misses a game, then that player's eligible game starts are reduced by the number of missed games. Example: in a season of 26 games, a player missed 6, then that player would need to start 10 of the 20 games attended.
