13UAAA Our 13UAAA Sun Devils were in Kamloops this past weekend to take on our division rivals the Kamloops River Dogs. The Sun Devils earned wins in 3 out of 4 games.
The team was lead with great pitching performances by Levi Giroday, Blayz Wilson and Henry Gilbert. Malachi Crowe lead the team in hits and Ryan Swift was a force behind the plate for the Sun Devils all weekend.
The 13UAAA Sun Devils have this weekend off before traveling south of the border to compete in a tournament in Everett. Good luck Sun Devils!
15UAAA
This weekend our 15UAAA Sun Devils will be in action at Edith Gay Ballpark. On Saturday they will face the #1 seed Vancouver Community with game times at 2:00pm and 4:30pm. Sunday they will play against the Richmond Chuckers at 10:00am and 12:30pm. Come on down and cheer on our hardworking team!
18UAAA
Last weekend they played a tight game against North Shore losing 2-0. The Sun Devils rebounded later in the day against a tough Victoria team to take a 5-3 win. This weekend the team heads to the Island where they will square off against 2 of the top teams in their division. The North Island Cubs and Victoria. Good Luck to our 18UAAA Sun Devils.
College Prep
Our College Prep Sun Devils have had some great weekends of ball. They were in the Best of the West tournament in Kamloops where they lost in the final 6-4 to a hard hitting Okotoks Dawgs.
This last weekend they resumed league play against the Penticton Tigers sweeping the 4 game series.
Game 1: 11-0 win, pitched by Dray 5IP, 1H/4K
Dray also had 4RBI’s. Court hit a 3Run HR.
Game 2: 5-4 Win. Waters and Babcock shared pitching duties with Kreitz coming in for the save.
Game 3: 12-3 Win: Court 7IP, 0 earned runs and 5K Brbot hit a solo HR. Bydlowski and Babcock had 4 hits each.
Game 4: 4-1 Win. Cleland 7IP, 2H/3K. RBI’s from MacIntosh and Kreitz contributed to the win.
Cleland led the way this weekend with 7H/4RBI, Dray 5H/4RBI, Hay 5H/2RBI…. Just to mention a few. Great weekend at bat for the team. Come cheer on your College Prep team as they play both Saturday and Sunday at Edith Gay!! Game times are at 12:00pm and 2:30pm Saturday.
