SPRING REGISTRATION 2026

This year, we are implementing a few changes to our regular grassroots programming!  For the 9U, 11U, and 13U age groups, COMBA will be expanding to include interlock play.What is Interlock Play?

Interlock play involves COMBA grassroots teams playing against other organizations within the Central Interior zone. This may require travel to locations ranging from Penticton up to Salmon Arm and Kamloops, and anywhere in between.

Specifically:

9U and 11U: COMBA will form four teams for the grassroots interlock division. We will also maintain a standard no-travel division for players and families who prefer not to travel.

13U: This grassroots group will now follow the same format as the 15U and 18U groups and all teams will participate in interlock play.

 Grassroots Recreational 

All players are encouraged to sign up for this exciting and dynamic opportunity to learn and grow in the sport of baseball! Formats differ by age group, but each player will have the chance to hone their skills, deepen their understanding of the game, and put their knowledge to the test through scrimmages and gameplay. Whether you're new to the sport or looking to improve, this program offers a fun and engaging environment for all!Players will receive an athletic shirt & hat

6U (2020) 1 Practice (Mon or Wed) & 1 Game - Sunday

7U (2019) 1 Practice (Tues or Thurs) & 1 Game - Saturday

8U (2018) 1 Practice (Saturday or Sunday) & 1 Game - (Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs)

9U (2017) 1 Practice (Saturday or Sunday) & 1 Game - (Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs)

9U Interlock (2017) 1 Practice (TBD) & 1 Game (TBD)

11U (2016 & 2015) 1 Practice (Slots available Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs) & 1 Game - Saturday

11U Interlock (2016 & 2015) 1 Practice (TBD) & 1 Game (TBD)

13U Interlock (2014 & 2013) 1 Practice (TBD) & 1 Game (TBD)

Please note that practice days for all of the above programs are subject to change. Intelrock schedules are determined by BC Minor and will be shared as soon as they are available.

 Competitive High Performance 

This is a competitive program focused on advanced theory, enhanced training and skill development.

Limited spots are available and there are tryouts for each HP age group.

Evaluation dates and further information will be communicated to those who have registered as those details become finalized.   

10/11U HP (2016 & 2015) Cost: $390 + $50 Evaluation Fee

Multiple teams will be formed and play each other in an intersquad league from April to early June.

Practices & Games are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Players will be on the field 3 times per week. Players will receive an athletic shirt & hat.

13U AA (2014 & 2013) Initial Cost: $440 + $50 Evaluation Fee

This competitive program typically forms up to 2 teams that travel through the Interior Region to play games against other AA teams from April to early June.

Practices are 2 times a week and games will vary per weekend and schedule. Players can expect to be on the field 2-4 times a week.

Additional fees may apply for this 13U AA team once team fees are finalized.

There will be waitlists for any high performance and grassroots age group where registration capacity is reached and those families will be contacted if a spot opens up.
