Peewee AA
BC Minor Baseball’s Peewee AA league is the most competitive baseball available at the 13U level in British Columbia. We are pleased to announce renowned Sun Devils College Prep Pitching Coach Derek Renneberg and his amazing team will be running the program this year, investing in the development of COMBA players.
Mosquito Tier 1
For the first time ever we will be offering a tiered Mosquito (11U) league, with 2 COMBA tier 1 teams. This is designed to be a more competitive program for those who have their eye on representing COMBA in future high performance programs and summer ball. Coach Curtis Orton is heading up this brand new program.
Here are the details. Please read carefully!
Cost
There is an additional $150 cost for both of these programs over and above the regular Spring Season fees.
Commitment
There will be 3-4 practices/games per week.
Timing
Both of these programs will run during the Spring season, and are disbanded before the summer.
Summer Ball
Being selected for Peewee AA or Mosquito Tier 1 is not a requirement for summer ball. Tryouts for summer all-star teams are open to all COMBA Spring Season players and take place in May.
Registration
If you are interested in either of these programs you must complete both of the following steps:
Register for the COMBA spring season by March 12th.
Sign up by March 15th to request a tryout time. You can sign up here.
Tryouts
Tryouts will take place at the Capital News Centre indoor fields.
Due to COVID limiting the number of players we can evaluate at one time, we will be assigning tryout times to those who sign up.
Every player will be assigned one weekday evening time and one Saturday time.
You will receive your times by March 19th via email.
